How to measure:

Measurement A - Side “neck” length
Measure from sternum bone located under the throat (you can feel this as an indentation below the dog's throat) to the withers. Pull the tape snugly and measure the length from in between the shoulder blades (withers) along the neck to the sternum bone. Measure one side only.
Don't measure all the way around the dog's neck because you'll increase the potential for error.

Measurement B1 - underbelly length
Measure from sternum bone all the way between front legs to the point where you are around 3 cm (1.2”) from (behind) the front legs - to avoid rubbing armpits

Measurement B2 - underbelly length
Measure the length from the sternum bone and continue between the front legs to the end of the rib cage (level of the last rib).

Measurement C – girth or maximum chest circumference
The Girth (or Chest circumference) measurement is taken all the way around the biggest part of your dog's ribcage (where the chest is the deepest). Generally, just behind the withers, down and around just behind the front legs and back up the other side to point.

Measurement D - minimum chest circumference
Measure the circumference of the narrowest part of the ribcage – over both last ribs. Don’t measure the waist.

Measurement E – base neck to last rib
Measure the length along the spine starting from the base of the neck to the last rib, before the waist.
